Bio

MICHELLE WILLIAMSON is an eighteen year veteran of the risk and insurance management industry. Her career spans the transportation, health and life sciences and broader public sector industries.
Author and frequent speaker, Michelle has delivered presentations on enterprise risk management to: Ontario’s Alcohol and Gaming Commission, the Retirement Homes Regulatory Authority, the governments of Bermuda and Saudi Arabia; as well as attendees of the Conference Board of Canada’s risk management conference and 2008 RIMS Canada conference.
Former Director of Professional Development for the Ontario chapter of RIMS, Michelle currently holds her RIMS fellow designation, is certified in risk management assurance and is currently the Team Leader of Enterprise Risk Management [and Internal Audit] at the Technical Standards and Safety Authority.
