We use Archer's SmartSuite Framework software as a key part of our core ERMS. It is a highly customizable, rapid application development environment with dashboard reporting. You still have to perform risk and control assessments with subject matter experts but you can tie results into industry practices, control standards, and company policies and practices in order to produce gap reports. If you are so inclined, you can also value your risks and controls with self-defined KRIs and CPIs and produce heat maps, trending, alarm reports, etc., based on likelihood and magnitude valuations.
