On March 8th, we will be meeting at Granger Hall on the University of Wisconsin campus in Madison. Aon Risk Solutions and Stroz Friedberg will be presenting on Evaluating Technology Expenditures and Internal Controls vs Risk Transfer. The cost of data breaches are increasing, and while we hear about new breaches weekly, we’re learning that no company or industry is isolated from risks related to disclosure of personal data, theft of trade secrets, business interruption, product liability and reputational risk. What we’ve learned over the years is there isn’t a single solution, but typically the most effective (and efficient) is a mix of technology investment, internal controls, pre-planning, risk transfer, and post-breach planning. Join cybersecurity firm Stroz Friedberg and Aon Risk Solutions as they share their experience through data, analytics, and real-world stories in an effort to keep you ahead of the cyber security curve.
Parking: We recommend parking in Lot 7 beneath Grainger Hall, owned and operated by UW Transportation Services. The entrance is located on S. Brooks St. between University Avenue and W. Johnson St. Real-time Lot 7 availability, as well as other nearby campus lots, by clicking here. Lot 7 is an hourly, pay-as-you-go lot. Hourly parking costs $1 every half hour for the first two hours, and $1 per hour after the first two hours (maximum $12 per day). In the evening after 4:31 p.m. rates are $1 per hour (for a maximum of $5).
