One of my management mantra’s is “measure three times, then cut”, meaning that for an initiative to be executable and sustainable, it must be an integrated human resources, safety and risk management program that has support from senior leadership, “buy-in” from the affected stakeholders, must be well communicated to the affected parties, and must align with the organization’s culture, values, and mission. I deliver focused and results-driven risk management and insurance solutions in a time-sensitive and cost effective process with emphasis on: Forecasting: Effective forecasting and actuarial valuations; Collaboration: Collaboration across the organization to ensure a focus on prevention, training, and proper reporting and documentation of events; Claims Management: Optimization of claims management procedures and ensuring best practices within self-administration, risk trust, captive, and/or third party administrator (TPA) to minimize cost of risk; Risk Tolerance: Recommend appropriate balance of self-insurance, large-deductible insurance policy, or self-insured retention; Insurance Marketing: Loss forecasting and direction of the broker’s preparation of market submissions to domestic & global underwriters. Recommend to management the program design, structure, and cost. Other key areas include: Insurance programs Safety programs Compensation program Accidents Self insured Claims administration Risk exposures Risk transfer Accident investigation Casualty insurance
