Susan Hiteshew joined Under Armour in 2011 to build and lead its Global Insurance and Risk Financing program for all non-benefit lines of risk. Susan is responsible for the strategic development of global risk management programs in alignment with UA risk tolerance, leads insurance due diligence for new business ventures, and owns the global risk financing budget. In addition, she oversees a multi-functional team responsible for global claims, loss control, and insurance operations and program administration. Prior to joining UA, Susan worked for the Special Liability Group at Travelers Insurance. She holds undergraduate dual degrees in Environmental Science and Music from The College of William & Mary and a MBA from Towson University and was selected as one of Risk & Insurance Magazine's 2016 Risk-All Stars. Susan serves on the National RIMS Board of Directors and on the board of the South Carolina Captive Insurance Association. She is a past Vice President and current member of the Chesapeake RIMS Chapter. Susan holds both a RIMS-CRMP and ARM certification.
