Rupak Mazumdar
Rupak Mazumdar is a Senior Manager in enterprise risk management for George Weston Limited, one of North America’s largest food processing and distribution groups based in Toronto. He has implemented an enterprise-wide risk management framework at George Weston that has enabled robust management and monitoring of critical risks and strengthened corporate governance and decision-making.
Rupak has been a risk management professional for 14 years in various industries including food processing and distribution, information technology, health care and public safety in both the private and public sectors. He has volunteered extensively in the risk management profession. This is highlighted by a full-term as President of the Ontario Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS). Rupak has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Statistics from Queen’s University.
