Bio

Based on an M. Sc., Hans Læssøe started at the LEGO group in 1981 programming medium term production planning IT-systems. In 1982 he started eductaing the LEGO Group organization in using IT as a tool. In 1984 Læssøe transferred to Corporate Manufacturing Planning as capacity planner - a position he held for 13 year, and evolved into director, corporate manufacturing strategic planning and monitoring. From 1997 through 2001 Læssøe held a number of staff management and startegy positions, until he, in 2001 was appointed director of staff and financial controlling for the LEGO Group development organization. In 2004 he joined the new Corporate Startegic Controlling team - which lead to working with Stratgic Risk Management as a project. In 2007 this evolved into a full time position as Strategic Risk Manager - and a subsequent (2008) promotion to Senior Director covering SRM as well as having a coordinating/driving responsibility for the LEGO group Enterprise Risk Management. Hans Læssøe is a co-founder of a Danish network for Strategic Risk Management and member of the European Council of Risk Management.
