Two major airports service San Francisco:

Shuttle services departing from San Francisco International Airport are available 24 hours a day and can be obtained on the upper level of the airport. Reservations are not required for shuttles departing from the airport, however; reservations are required for service directly from the hotel to the airport. UPDATE - Parking at Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf

Due to Construction in the garage, parking at the Hyatt Fisherman's Wharf will be limited during the 2008 RIMS Western Regional Conference to ONLY registered hotel guests. The overnight fee is approximately $45.00 to park in the hotel garage. The hotel has provided a parking chart showing additional parking locations and a map.

Driving Directions to the Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf Hotel

From the Peninsula and San Jose:
Take US-101 North. Take the I-280 North Exit towards Port of San Francisco. Continue towards the end of the Freeway, which turns into King Street, which becomes The Embarcadero. Continue about 2 miles and turn left on North Point Street. Follow 5 blocks to Taylor Street. The Hyatt Carriage is on the left, 555 North Point.

From The Bay Bridge, East Bay And Sacramento:
Cross over the Bay Bridge and exit at the Fremont Street exit. Turn left onto Fremont Street. Turn Right onto Howard Street. Turn left onto Embarcadero and follow for about one and a quarter miles. At about Pier 35 turn left on to North Point Street. We are located five blocks ahead on the left between Taylor and Jones Streets.

From the Golden Gate Bridge, Marin and Napa Valley:
Cross over the Golden Gate Bridge and take the Lombard Street exit. Proceed ahead to Van Ness Avenue and turn Left. Continue on Van Ness to North Point Street and turn right. We are ahead between Jones and Taylor Streets on the right hand side.

Directions to the Airport

From The Hyatt At Fisherman’s Wharf to the San Francisco International Airport: From the hotel, turn left onto North Point Street. Continue on North Point Street to Van Ness Avenue and turn left. Continue on Van Ness Avenue past Market Street and take the 101 South entrance to the freeway. Continue on 101 South to the Airport exit.

From the Hyatt At Fisherman’s Wharf to the Oakland International Airport
Exit right from the hotel driveway onto North Point Street; continue five blocks to Embarcadero Street. Turn right and proceed one and a quarter miles to Harrison Street. Turn right and follow signs to Hwy. 80 East (Bay Bridge). After crossing the Bay Bridge take 580 south to 980, which connects to 880 South. Exit at the Hegenberger Road/Oakland International Airport Exit and follow the signs to the airport.


Weather/Climate

San Francisco is blessed with a temperate marine climate and enjoys mild weather year-round. Temperatures seldom rise above 70°F (21°C) or fall below 40°F (5°C). Morning and evening fogs roll in during the summer months, but rarely persist. Visitors are most comfortable with a light jacket or coat handy, or in a suit. An all-weather coat will take the chill off cool evenings. Lightweight summer clothes are seldom practical in San Francisco.
