Tony Smith is Chief of Staff at Strata Clean Energy, where he has spent nearly a decade shaping the company’s finance, insurance, and risk management functions to support one of the nation’s leading renewable energy developers. His career spans senior roles in finance and operations at Lenovo, IBM, and Med Bill Corp, as well as executive leadership in the hospitality sector.
In addition to his corporate work, Tony successfully built and sold his own small business, Berkeley Property Management, and has spent the past seven years teaching entrepreneurship and finance best practices at the University of North Carolina. He is passionate about applying financial and operational insights to help organizations anticipate risk, improve resilience, and grow sustainably.
