Speaker Bio:
Wes Hartsoe is Associate Director of Corporate Risk Management at Duke University, where he oversees enterprise-wide insurance strategy, claims, and self-insurance programs. His two decades of experience span academia, biotech, insurance brokerage, and global clinical research. Prior to returning to Duke in his current leadership role, Wes helped manage risk programs at Labcorp, IQVIA, and The Pantry, and also served as an insurance broker with USI. He’s a longtime contributor to the regional risk community and a former Vice President of Piedmont RIMS.
