Join us December 7th for our Annual Membership Meeting, Educational Seminar & Networking Happy Hour
In keeping with our 2018 ERM theme, our December seminar will discuss Emerging Technologies.
We will discuss the various areas of Emerging Risks including Artificial Intelligence, The Internet of Things, Big Data and Health and Safety. We have two speakers lined up who are engaged in these fields on a daily basis and excited to share their insights in these Emerging Risks. Thomas Quigley leads the U.S. Communications, Media & Technology Practice for Marsh, Inc. and Woody Hill, Texas Mutual’s VP & Customer Experience Officer.
Join us for a discussion on how technology is transforming businesses and risks across all industries, and the case for how risk management professionals must adapt to remain relevant.
Tom Quigley, Marsh’s US Communications, Media & Technology Practice Leader, will present the case for why all companies need to think about the digital transformation of their industries, and not only data protection. This will include a discussion of:
1. Seismic technology shifts impacting all businesses and industries
2. Overview of three areas of technology with potentially the greatest impact for all industries (Big Data, IoT, and AI)
3. Understanding the risks created by these technology shifts
We will conclude by challenging some of the assumptions of how risk management professionals best add value in their roles as we look forward. This will be a highly interactive session, so please be prepared to share your points of view.RSVP/Payment
