This webinar goes deep into the world of various types of claims and losses experienced by companies. It details the claims process, involvement with third-party administrators, insurers, adjusters, forensic engineers and accountants, and more. It is designed to provide the risk managers with better clarity around these various functions in order to drive better business decisions for their organizations.

Our speaker, Tim Christ, has an extensive history in the risk and insurance industry, as he has served the largest insureds and insurers for over 15 years, including AIG, FM Global, Munich Re, Halliburton, Baker Hughes, and more. He turned around two forensic engineering businesses that were losing money and made them profitable again. He then went a competitor and proceeded to build 5 different international divisions from scratch and turned them into multi-million-dollar revenue streams, including divisions in Vancouver and another in Mexico City. He was recognized by LATAM Insurance Review magazine as a Power 50, one of the 50 most influential people in Latin America. He has led teams of over 100 engineers as they manage large, complex projects. He became an owner of the firm and they completed a sale to private equity in 2014.

As a frequent international speaker on business strategy, complex projects, risk, and forensic engineering, Tim is a frequent guest and contributor to several industry publications. He published his first book, Becoming a World-Class Expert: The Business of Forensic Engineering in 2018, and his second book, Outgrowing QuickBooks: Engineering Real Profit in Companies $10 Mil-$50 Mil was published September 8, 2020. Today, he works with a number of midsize and large firms, advising on strategy, risk management, talent and business development, and operational efficiency.
