Topic: #MeToo - The #MeToo movement has gained notoriety across the country. Hear from an attorney and insurance broker about how the movement has effected litigation and employment practices liability insurance.

Presenter(s): David G. Lubben, Attorney with Davis & Campbell & David G. Garrigus, Senior Vice President with Marsh
David G. Lubben is a 1988 graduate of Stanford Law School and partner at Davis & Campbell at its Peoria Illinois office. David was a federal court clerk on the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Florida and Alabama, and worked at the U.S. Department of Justice, before joining Davis & Campbell. His practice covers all aspects of employment litigation and compliance with employment laws and regulations, including in areas of wage and hour, safety and health, benefits and leave administration, protection of proprietary information and employers’ rights and enforcement of non-competition, non-solicitation and anti-raiding covenants, defense of claims under equal employment laws including all forms of harassment and retaliation, and employment-related immigration, and development of effective personnel policies and handbooks.
David G. Garrigus rejoined Marsh in 2015 as a Senior Vice President. He previously worked at Ironshore Insurance Company from 2011 to 2015 as the Midwest Regional Manager of Professional Liability (including Miscellaneous Professional Liability, Technology/Network Security & Privacy, Lawyers Professional, and Architects & Engineers Professional Liability) and Management Liability (including Directors & Officers Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Crime, and Kidnap & Ransom) product lines.
David worked at Marsh from 2003 to 2011 as a FINPRO advisor, where he was a regular speaker at industry events, including Marsh “Reality of Risk” seminars, “FINPRO 101” educational programs, broker panels, and Marsh client symposiums. David was a panelist at the 2011 RIMS Hines Symposium titled “Cyber Risk: Protecting Your Assets”, and has authored pieces including "One Size Does Not Fit All: A More Focused Approach to Healthcare D&O Insurance Contract Construction" published by the American Health Lawyers Association.
