?</p> <p><strong>Michael Harrington</strong></p> <p><strong>Lockheed Martin Vice President of Risk Management</strong></p> <p><strong></strong></p> <ul> <li>Michael Harrington is a graduate of Norwich University (BA History), Harvard University (MA Government) and Boston University (JD Law).</li> <li>Before entering the private sector, Mr. Harrington spent nine (9) years on active duty with the United States Army and specifically with the 10<sup>th</sup> Special Forces Group (Airborne). achieving the rank of Major.</li> <li>After leaving the military, Mr. Harrington entered private legal practice ultimately joining Textron Inc. as an in-house attorney. Textron is a multi-industry, multi-national corporation including well known and diverse products such as: Cessna Aircraft; Bell Helicopter; E-Z-GO Golf Cars; Greenlee Electrical Tools; Kautex Plastic Gas Tanks; Ransoms/Jacobsen Professional Lawn Equipment; Textron Systems Defense Products, etc.</li> <li>Mr. Harrington served at Textron from 1999 2008 and was responsible for all of Textron Inc. domestic and international insurance related matters for all lines of insurance and responsible for the purchasing and management for all of Textron's insurance assets, including negotiation of policy terms and conditions, including customer contracts. </li> <li>After leaving Textron Mr. Harrington served as Sr. Risk Manager for EMC Corporation from 2008 2011. Mr. Harrington was Responsible for all risk operations for two publically traded corporations, EMC and VMware including all domestic and international insurance related matters for all lines of insurance, ERM development and brokerage relationships. This role diversified his experience beyond products to include experience with data management software, virtualization software, electronics manufacturing and cloud computing risks.</li> <li>After departing EMC / VMware, Mr. Harrington served as the Senior Risk Manager for Jabil Circuit a diverse, worldwide contract manufacturing corporation from 2011-2017. At Jabil, Mr. Harrington was responsible for implementing substantial local insurance coverage for all lines of insurance in over 44 countries around the globe and directly managed a staff of approximately 65 insurance brokers that acted on his behalf in the US and globally.</li> <li>The diverse experience between the manufacturing risks at Textron and the electronics and data risks at EMC and the complex international manufacturing and cyber experience from Jabil Circuit place Mr. Harrington in a unique position in the market to deal with manufacturing risk, technology risk, IP risk, electronics risks among others. This combination of experience and diverse risk management skills led to his role at Lockheed Martin in April of 2017.</li> <li>Mr. Harrington is currently the Vice President of Risk Management for the Lockheed Martin Corporation headquartered in Bethesda, MD. Lockheed is the world's largest defense contracting business, producing a wide array of products ranging from F-35 and F-16 fighter jets to helicopters to the Orion manned space program designed to take mankind to Mars. Mr. Harrington is responsible for all aspects of Risk and Insurance for Lockheed Martin.</li> </ul> <p>?
