Ash Kilada is a Director, Treasury Risk Management within the insurance and risk management group at PepsiCo, Inc and is responsible for managing PepsiCos Global Casualty program and the corporate risk financing and budgeting process. Until June 2009, Ash served as a First Vice President in Merrill Lynch & Co.'s Treasury department, as head of the Global Insurance and Risk group where he was directly responsible for the program design, marketing, financing and administration of all non-employee benefits related insurance programs for Merrill Lynch and its subsidiaries worldwide. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch in September of 2004, Ash was Vice President of Risk Management and Benefits at Sbarro, Inc. where he managed all insurance and risk programs and, at various times, also had overall responsibility for the Information Technology and Payroll functions. Prior to joining Sbarro in 1994, Ash was the Insurance Risk Manager for Barnes & Noble, the Director of Safety and Claims and eventually Vice President of Risk Management and Benefits for National Cleaning Group, and a Loss Prevention Service Director in the national accounts department of Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Ash was a Director, Corporate Secretary, and founding member of the Long Island Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS). Ash has been a speaker at the RIMS annual national and regional conferences and he has been published in several industry publications including the RIMS publication Defining Moments in Risk Management, Ash has been quoted/featured in Business Insurance and Institutional Investor magazine. Ash holds a U.S. patent for the Lifeline Retrieval Device, a safety device for the window cleaning industry. Ash holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University.
