I have been employed with GATE since 1983. 1st and only employer!
I initially worked in the Accounting/ Real Estate area for 18 years. I then transitioned into the Benefits / Risk area in 2001. In 2020 I moved the benefits under the HR dept and became Risk 100%. As Director of Risk Management, I oversee all phases of Risk for the company.
I've lived in JAX since 1983 and graduated from St Bonaventure University in NY in 1982.
I love my company and the work I do. It is very challenging since we are such a diversified organization but that also makes it very interesting! Each day is full of surprises.
Some of my favorite sayings are: "The Problem is not the problem, the Problem is your attitude towards the problem" and "There are no problems, only opportunities".
