The NARIMS Board is presenting a RIMS Perk session, with Colin Mitchell of Integro Group and Mariessa Carbone of MNP LLP. This session aims to explore the following question:
Why are realistic disaster scenarios so important to enterprise risk management?
‘As an organization’s enterprise risk management (ERM) program matures, it tends to become more granular and complex. By quantifying the impact of specific realistic disaster scenarios (RDS), risk managers can effectively communicate ERM results throughout the organization. This presentation will explain the importance of RDS in the context of a broader ERM initiative, and will offer practical tools & techniques to develop and quantify RDS and go over a few case studies customized to the audience.’
What are the case studies? Attend this session and find out.
