I believe that effective public relations can improve our lives, and I frequently counsel with leaders from corporations, associations, nonprofit organizations and institutions alike to help align their business strategies with this objective in mind.
I am honored to have been trusted to lead communications initiatives for some of the world's most respected brands. Over the last 15 years, I have gained significant experience in the legal, technology, education, health care, nonprofit, hospitality and entertainment sectors. This broad range of experience in both corporate communications and agency representation has proven essential to safeguarding the reputation of my clients. As a communicator, I thrive in complex and high-stakes situations. For this reason, I am routinely called on to lead crisis management and litigation communications for critical issues including labor and employment matters, criminal activities such as financial misconduct, fraud and sexual harassment claims, data breaches and consumer data privacy concerns, patent infringement, trade secrets violations, natural disasters and tax controversies.
In addition to my work, I am a dedicated advocate for advancement of the public relations profession. I have served in numerous leadership roles for the Florida Public Relations Association and teach future public relations professionals as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Central Florida's Nicholson School of Communication. I often speak on topics related to crisis management, litigation communications and the intersection of public relations and business psychology in the modern economic landscape.
As the mother of two young daughters, I also care deeply about issues that affect our future generations and support organizations that work to address issues like climate change, diversity, equity and inclusion, and technology and privacy issues. I am always interested in learning more about how I can further these initiatives through volunteerism or pro bono service.
