Gail Kiyomura, CPCU, ARM is currently the owner of The ART of Risk Consulting - a risk management consulting firm with expertise in public entity risks. Previously, Gail was the Deputy Director of Human Resources for the City of Stockton. Her career in risk management has been varied from the retail grocery industry (Safeway) to public utilities (Pacific Gas & Electric) to federal contractor (Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory) to city government. She has been involved with claims ranging from fender benders and bee stings to one of the worst gas explosion in the public utility space. Gail considers the job of a risk manager as "part lawyer, part doctor, part negotiator, and always a good listener".
