SARIMS is proud to present our October Breakfast Session on Thursday October 8, 2026 examining how captives can be used as a long-term strategic risk management platform.
In 2026, organizations face an insurance market shaped by improving rate conditions alongside an increasingly complex and interconnected risk landscape. This environment is prompting a more strategic view of how risk is managed, financed, and governed. Within the broader spectrum of risk financing strategies, captives are increasingly being viewed not simply as insurance vehicles, but as strategic assets that can support enterprise priorities and bring greater discipline to the deployment of risk capital.
This session will examine how captives can be used as long-term strategic risk management platforms to strengthen enterprise resilience, improve capital efficiency, and provide greater control over volatility. The discussion will consider how captives can support a more disciplined approach to total cost of risk, create a flexible tool to respond to changing market cycles along with emerging and evolving exposures, and help organizations deploy risk capital with greater confidence in a dynamic market environment.
Join us for a forward-looking discussion on the evolving role of captives as strategic platforms for enterprise resilience, capital efficiency, and risk governance. The session will explore how organizations can move beyond traditional risk transfer to adopt a more deliberate, flexible, and value-driven approach to financing risk in an increasingly complex environment.
