“NARIMS presents Verbal Judo”

Place: Boardroom (10120 103 Avenue, ).
**Head up to the second floor of ; the Boardroom is just before the Stantec office. Look for the registration desk just outside the Boardroom.
Registration fee: $60 members/$120 non-Members; at the door by cash or cheque only. Session is limited to a maximum of 40 attendees so register early to ensure your spot.
The NARIMS Board is pleased to present Darcy Pennock, a certified Verbal Judo instructor, who will provide a session on Verbal Judo. Verbal Judo is a tactical communications program designed to provide people with the skills necessary to establish and maintain a professional presence during any verbal encounter. These skills are useful in communicating effectively even during difficult situations with clients, members of the public, and co-workers. Darcy empowers those in his classes with a skillful mix of insight and humour. If your professional career requires effective interpersonal communications, especially under duress, or if you want to greatly improve the quality of your personal relationships, Verbal Judo should be an essential part of your skill-set.

Guests are welcome and may be included when registering your attendance at this session.
PLEASE NOTE: NARIMS must pay for each declared registrant. Persons who register and do not attend or send an alternate will be billed for the cost of the session unless cancellation notice is received prior to noon on January 23, 2013.
