This year I am honored to join two business partners to speak about how public and private organizations are leveraging today's business intelligence(BI) reporting tools to ascertain in-depth knowledge of their business.
I will spend a few minutes covering the evolution of reporting during the past 20 years and where we are today with respect to reporting functionality.
I'll then cover the use of dashboards and how sometimes dashboards fall short of providing the functionality and information necessary to adequately reduce risk.
Tips, relative to building successful RMIS BI reporting applications, will also be discussed.
Last on my agenda, is a look at what we might expect to see in future BI reporting applications for our industry.
My presentation will be followed by two seasoned professionals representing public and private organizations who will be speaking more specifically about how they utilize BI reporting applications to gain the knowledge they need to manage their risk.
