By Gabriel Lugo posted 04-01-2009 04:32 PM

Join us at RIMS as we address several issues that will assist you in better managing your risks.

We will focus on: OCIPs (Owner Controlled Insurance Programs) and whether it is a cost effective alternative; Drilling contract issues from the perspective of the drilling contractor; the role of rating agencies and the similarities and differences between competing agencies; Anti-Indemnity Statutes and how to avoid the pitfalls in agreements.  Part of the session will be devoted to a round table discussion of current issues from questions taken from attendees, so bring your questions.

Our speakers will give you insight from a contractor, broker, consultant, legal and actuarial side.  We will help you in comparing the disadvantages to the advantages when reviewing your insurance program and what to look for in order to make it successful. This session is hosted by RIMS Houston Chapter.

Post any questions or comments in advance of our session in this blog and we will be sure to address them on Tuesday for discussion.

See you in Orlando!
