Resilient Edge-- Transforming Operating Risk into Competetive Advantage (RMG307)

"Business Resiliency is a business differentiator."  Tell me, what corporate or business executive would not be interested in hearing more about that message!  The reality is, Business Resiliency truly is a business differentiator.   During the iJET Intelligent Risk Systems panel discussion entitled, "Resilient Edge: Transforming Operating Risk into Competitive Advantage", we will examine three case studies of how businesses are transforming risk into opportunity and how using predictive intelligence - security and geopolitical threats and competitive intelligence - they are positioning their companies to not only survive this downturn in the economy but, to be stronger when it improves.

In this very volatile global economy, the likelihood of geopolitical upheaval, civil unrest, increased liability and exposure to financial crimes are sure to increase and create greater risk to your businesses.  The costs of business disruptions due to these factors (and others such as natural disasters and pandemics) are unacceptable.  Those companies who have the ability to turn risks into opportunity are more likely to survive even the most difficult of times.  A Business Resiliency program combines all of the organizational elements which bring business opportunity, business growth and shareholder value into a collaborative discussion.  Ideally, this should result in a greater awareness of such imperatives as:  1) identification and management of risk, 2) identification of emerging markets and, 3) the development of contingency plans that provide the ability to adapt to the dynamics of the three - providing your company with a competitive advantage.

I invite you to consider what you are doing to ensure your company has the ability to rapidly adapt and respond to the risks and opportunities it faces and what actions you are taking to maintain your competitive advantage, particularly in this very challenging economy.  Please post your questions and comments to the bottom of this blog so that we may be sure to address as many as possible during the iJET discussion at the session.
