RIMS 2009 in Orlando was a terrific Conference. While our registration numbers were down for obvious reasons, I believe that our attendees were still very pleased with the turnout and genuinely enjoyed themselves. From presentations by top industry leaders to community service events and lively entertainment, RIMS 2009 Annual Conference & Exhibition motivated and inspired everyone to energize their risk management strategy. There were over 120 sessions focused on how to survive in today’s challenging business environment and our Exhibit Hall had more than 400 vendors showcasing thousands of new resources and solutions. I was very pleased to meet our members face-to-face and speak with “first-timers” to the Conference about their experience with RIMS thus far as well as the benefits of joining RIMS. I’m already looking forward to RIMS 2010 in Boston!
