The Strategic Risk Management Development Council (SRMDC) is comprised of RIMS members, academics, strategists, consultants and other practitioners who are tho0ught leaders on strategic risk management and related issues. Its mission is to:
- provide leadership in the areas of research, design, facilitation, implementation and marketing of international leading strategic risk practices, research projects and papers
- promote and advance an applied strategic risk management discipline, through the use of innovative and pragmatic risk methodologies, and;
- assert the role of RIMS as global leader in "risk innovations for managing strategy" in alignment with RIMS own strategic direction, affiliations and partnerships.
