Insuring Indemnity - It can be difficult enough for a company to determine what insurance it needs to protect itself against liability for its own actions. Those difficulties are only compounded when companies enter into contracts containing risk-shifting provisions in the form of indemnity obligations. This presentation will explain some fundamental concepts regarding the interplay between insurance coverage and indemnity obligations. There will also be a discussion about additional insured and certificates of insurance.
