Greetings MN RIMS Members, Associates and Students
I hope you had a chance to attend the November meeting which was held jointly with CPCU.
Please note that the MN Chapter does not conduct a December meeting nor host a holiday event. The next we will be together as a group is a the MN RIMS Annual Seminar, January 29th, 2015. Be sure to register; you will not want to miss this big event. A Big Thank You to the committee and especially sponsors who make this event possible.
We had some new volunteers to committees as a result of the November invitation to participate. Yeah!! The Nominating Committee continues to consider candidates for the board and committees for the Chapter’s 2015/16 fiscal year. We encourage Members and Associates to participate in Committees – it is a great way to deepen your network! If you are interested in serving please contact me!
The November President’s letter included annual announcement from the Spencer Foundation; if you are interested and misplaced the November communication you can find a copy posted on the MN RIMS website at: www.minnesota.rims.org
You should have recently received notice of the Society’s 2015 Conference which will be held in New Orleans April 26th to 29th Registration is now open at www.rims.org
The annual Membership renewal packets will soon arrive. In anticipation, please make sure to update your profile on the Society’s website at www.rims.org
Please note the Chapter’s primary source of correspondence is its email address MNRIMS@gmail.com. If you have not received the emails please make sure that the chapter’s email address is on your company’s approved “white” list; some companies do filter gmail mass mailings as SPAM - you won’t want to miss out on Chapter events!
