Kathy is an accomplished insurance professional with over 30 years of experience. She is a strategic planner who builds risk management programs tailored to each companys specific exposures and risk tolerance and excels at reducing the cost of risk.
During her career, she has held leadership roles at six companies; four of which were Fortune 500 publicly traded organizations. These companies spanned four industriesinsurance (Liberty Mutual and Progressive), retail (Albertsons and Office Depot), logistics (Leaseway Transportation) and manufacturing (Kimberly-Clark). Kathy is currently the Sr. Director of Global Risk Management for Office Depot, Inc., a Fortune 200 company with over 1,300 retail stores worldwide and one of the largest e-commerce retailers in the world. Office Depot, Inc. also performs many services for customers ranging from managed print, technology, shipping, shredding, cell phone repair, office design, and more earning an annual revenue of $11 billion.
Kathy is a native of Michigan and has lived in 8 different states (a couple of them more than once) pursuing her career. Kathy has a Bachelor of Arts degree, an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and is a licensed adjuster.
