Alan Kubitz is the Sr. Manager, Global Risk & Insurance at eBay since 2015 and during that time, he has been focused on building deep connections with the business to manage operational risk, evaluating and improving insurance programs, and trying to innovate or improve through technology.
Prior to joining eBay, Alan managed several aspects of risk management at AAA, including Business Continuity, Insurance, Captive Operations, and Quality Assurance. His background is uniquely diverse in managing risk for global companies across a wide range of industries including chemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, office & consumer products, distribution & supply chain management, and promotional marketing. Alan is currently the President of the Silicon Valley RIMS Chapter and was previously the President of the Chicago RIMS Chapter from 2008-2010. Alan's education is from Illinois State University and their nationally recognized Katie Insurance School, where Alan was recognized as a distinguished alumnus for achievements in Insurance & Risk Management.
