BCRIMA President's Letter

Hello and  Welcome!

BCRIMA members are grateful to live, work, play and be connected with people from across many traditional and unceded territories, spanning all regions of British Columbia and the Yukon.  We are honoured to live on these lands and are committed to building relationships in our communities and through our connections in the Risk and Insurance industry.

I would like to thank our members and Board for their involvement and continued support over the past number of months, while we re-organize and get the momentum rolling forward.  With the roster changes that have occurred due to various factors, I am honoured  to be serving as the Chapter’s President again in this 2023/2024 term.

Each acting Board member has reviewed and submitted a Commitment and Confidentiality Agreement, renewing their pledge to serve our Chapter and its members with the utmost of professionalism and candor. Our Chapter is working with RIMS to collaborate in updating bylaws, processes and positions to ensure inclusivity and evolve with the challenges the world has faced in the past number of years and to continue to be relevant in these changing times.

Without volunteers we would not be able to set and accomplish our goals.  On that note, I would like to thank and introduce you to the incoming 2023 / 2024 BCRIMA Board of Directors team;
