Will you consider serving your Chapter this upcoming 2014-2015 year?
Here are some reasons to volunteer:
• Bring fresh new ideas to our Board for meeting topics
• Get to know and develop working relationships with your peers
• Enhance your leadership skills
• Added experience for your resume
Here is the commitment we ask for:
• Attend the half day summer workshop (held in June or July) to plan out the year’s events
• Attend as many of the events as possible and sit with guests to make sure they feel welcome
• Serve, as required, in your selected roll (i.e. treasurer, secretary, president, vice president, at-large board member,committee chair, etc)
Please complete the attached “Nomination Form” if you would like to nominate yourself or someone else for a position on the Board. If you have any questions about any specific position, please don’t hesitate to contact one of the chapter officers.
If you are currently serving on the Board I ask that you fill out a new nomination form so that we know you still want to serve.
Please join us on Wednesday, May 21st for our Business Meeting where we will select our new Officers and Board.
