Program:
Due to advances in health care, most of us have the chance to live into our 90s. Our challenge will be to maintain good health throughout our lives. Our speaker, John Shier, a Registered Nurse and Doctor of Philosophy who entered the nursing profession at the young age of sixty after having two prior successful careers, will provide tips on how we can Live Long and Die Healthy. His message has implications for business and risk management, including wellness programs, productivity and costs of employee benefit programs.
In addition to our guest speaker, if you are interested in continuing the discussion from our November meeting about contracts, indemnification, additional insured and certificates, please come an hour early to participate in round table discussions. This will be a chance for newer members to the Risk Management profession to meet with some veterans to compare notes.
