We are looking to fill a large number of positions and we're looking for people who are able to work well under pressure, have an understanding of emergency management, can evaluate a complex situation and come up with reasonable courses of action that fit circumstances/legislation, able to establish professional relationships with people from all walks of life, can communicate well in person and in writing, have a strong work ethic and like to have some fun along the way.
A number of these positions will be in the Recovery Branch which is responsible for the various Disaster Recovery Programs currently underway. For those with a background in the risk management or insurance industries, AEMA will provide a unique experience that will complement your skills plus provide the opportunity to help Albertans impacted by disaster.
