We have implemented the Enterprise Risk Assessor system from Methodware (www.methodware.com) and are in the process of trying to upgrade from several stand-alone licenses to their client-server version. In addition, we are looking to bring our internal audit, compliance, enterprise planning and enterprise process engineering groups on as key users of the application, securing it as our primary tool for managing enterprise risk and control information.

This message has been cross-posted to both the Risk Professionals and the Enterprise Risk Management E-Groups.

Over a year ago we put a multidisciplined task force together to study this issue. During the process we reviewed several different systems and finally selected Risk Navigator(http://paisleyconsulting.com). While we were initially looking for a system to address SOX compliance, it also needed to have the flexibility to address ERM issues. Risk Navigator was essentially the only system we reviewed that actually integrated ERM instead of simply bolting it on to a system designed to capture financial processes. There aren't alot of ERM bells and whistles, but the essential elements are there. It is not tremendously difficult to customize and can be structured (or restructured) to apply financial or other processes to key risks. We've been through one iteration now - obviously focusing on 404 - and are generally pleased with the results. I understand the Paisley people come mostly from the insurance/risk management disciplines instead of accountants.

Any recommendations regarding "off the shelf" Enterprise Risk Management software products, with reasonable tailoring capabilities?
Thanks
