What's Trending!

Registration is now open to join your peers for our November meeting entitled “Cannabis – Implications and Trends impacting Workers’ Compensation and Employment”. Our speakers will include Dr. Teresa Bartlett, Senior Medical Officer at Sedgwick and Michael Puma, Esquire of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. As Risk Managers and insurance industry professionals, it is important to understand current cannabis legislation, medical efficacy reviews and overall implications in the state workers’ compensation and employment sectors.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the Comcast Technology Center (CTC), located at 1800 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA. Please enter on the 18th street side of the building.

Please note the following Comcast security considerations:

  • Unregistered guests will be unable to attend this meeting. You must register prior to November 5, 2019 in order to attend. No walk-ins will be permitted.
  • Participants will need to sign in to the security desk on the mezzanine level of the CTC and await a Comcast employee escort to the 18th floor for the meeting.  Please plan to arrive with enough time to check into the building.
  • Participants will be required to wear a red visitor lanyard at all times while inside the CTC, and return the lanyard to the security desk when they exit the building.

We will begin with networking and breakfast at 8:00 am followed by the session at 8:30 am.  The program will conclude at 10:00 am.

Following the meeting, Comcast would like to invite you to experience the Universal Sphere, located on the mezzanine level of the lobby.  There are two time slots reserved for 25 people each at 10:15am and 10:30am.  If you would like to experience the Sphere, please e-mail Tom_Armstrong@comcast.com with your time preference.  Space in each group is on a first come, first served basis and there is no charge to join the experience after the meeting.
