February 12 – The EU’s GDPR – is your organization compliant?  8:00 AM - 10:00 AM   The Central Branch of the Free Library, 1901 Vine Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103

It has now been over six months since the enactment of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) at the end of May.  Please join us for a lively panel discussion from organizations which have already taken the necessary steps to become compliant with GDPR, including updating existing processes to address the regulation’s requirements. These organizations have looked at privacy through a risk management lens to not only better prepare for privacy-related regulatory compliance but also to address broader enterprise-wide privacy risks and advance strategic objectives.

Our panel will feature a discussion with Gamelah Palagonia, Senior Vice President and Cyber Risk Specialist with Willis Towers Watson and Sarah McHenry, Senior Counsel, Clinical Development, Legal Clinical with CSL Behring

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at The Central Branch of the Free Library, 1901 Vine Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103 beginning with networking and breakfast at 8:00 am followed by the session at 8:30 am.  The program will conclude at 10:00 am. Because your meeting is starting at 8am (before we open to the public), your group will need to enter the building via our Wood Street entrance. If you are going north on 20th Street, make a right down Wood Street and go down the ramp on the right side. Security will direct you to the gold elevators. Once you arrive at the gold elevators, go to the 4th Floor or “R”. Walk straight and then make a left down the hall. Make another left. Room 405 is the first conference room on the right. The rooms are labeled on the outside.

Parking kiosks are available on the streets surrounding the library. In addition to coins, bills and credit cards may be used for payment at these devices. The device issues a printed ticket you place inside your windshield curbside. Philadelphia Parking Authority lot behind the library: Callowhill Street between 19th and 20th Streets.

You may register for the meeting by visiting the calendar link:
