We are currently searching for a Risk Management Analyst in our Valley Forge, PA location.

Job Responsibilities:

Individual will own and manage the following responsibilities; 1) Coordinating the exposure data collection process for the annual SGC NA insurance renewals (approximately 30 different lines of insurance); 2) Managing the preparation and communication of the SGC NA annual insurance budget (approximately $33M+) process; 3) Managing all insurance premium and expense allocations to SGC NA businesses; 4) Managing collateral portfolio of letters of credit and or surety bonds as required by the risk management department; 5) Provide ad hoc analysis regarding SGC NA budget, allocation, claim or loss behavior activity 

This position will also be responsible for assisting Director Risk Management and Divisional Risk Manager in all aspects of placement for the SGC NA casualty and specialty lines of insurance as well as Interfacing with CSG ORA on property and other global insurance programs.Individual will also analyze data and research and respond to underwriting, loss behavior and claim activity questions as required.

Insurance Data Management: Gather all underwriting data and prepare annual renewal submissions for casualty, property and specialty lines of insurance for Director and broker. Own and develop the preparation and allocation of expense for the casualty, property and specialty lines of insurance. Annual Insurance Budget Process: Prepare the annual insurance budget for all NA businesses and communicate market and budget information to all business unit controllers and sse accountants. Develop budget criteria I drivers and analyze allocations per business unit. Analyze and prepare budget activity comparisons to prior year and to actuals and provide commentary explaining variances.

Analytics & Collateral Portfolio Management: Provide other ad hoc analysis regarding budget, allocation, claim or loss behavior activity for all SGC NA businesses. Manage the surety program that includes bonds ($70M+) and letters of credit ($112M+) providing collateral to support for various arrangements.

This position involves prioritizing among many high profile projects/tasks competing for limited resources, managing simultaneous projects/tasks that will require good organization skills in a highly autonomous environment. Involves communication and interaction with business unit controllers and sse accountants. Accordingly, the ability to effectively communicate will be key. Individual must be able to gather and evaluate financial information and be able to recognize the quality of data being utilized in the process.

The position will be responsible for compiling, analyzing and providing recommendations for action based on the results of the analysis The position will interact and correspond with multiple internal entities and departments (SGC BU's, Benefits, Captive, EHS, Legal, Procurement, Treasury and Tax) as well as multiple external vendors (Brokers,Carriers, TPA's) The compiling and reporting responsibilities are extensive. As new businesses are acquired and some existing businesses are divested, due diligence analysis regarding exposures, liabilities and claim activity can be extensive,

Meeting deadlines is critical as this can be challenging given the complexity and the volume of data involved.

Skills and Requirements:

Undergraduate college degree in business (Accounting I Finance) or risk management
MBA, CPA and/or CFA preferred.
5+ years business experience. Prior risk management experience bonus. but not required
