Letter From the President - Holiday Party 2023

January 11, 2022

To the Long Island Risk Management, Insurance, and Benefits Community:

It is an honor to host the 25th Annual Holiday Party for the Long Island Chapter of the Risk & Insurance Management Society (RIMS), the Risk Management Society.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, Chapter Members & Friends, we would like to thank all of our sponsors and supporters, both corporate and individual, for their contributions in making this (and all of our events) successful. We greatly appreciate the support you have given us throughout the years.  Our Chapter always enjoys bringing the corporate risk, insurance, and benefits professionals together with the insurers and service providers to share ideas and explore new opportunities.  Additionally, your generosity has given us the pleasure to support charities, like the Spencer (risk management education) Foundation and DAV, the Disabled American Veterans.

We would also like to thank the Main Event for providing its facility and service.  I’m sure you will agree that this venue delivers a robust and lively site for a memorable time.

We are all volunteers - the Chapter Board members, general members, service providers, and guests.  We come to this and other RIMS events voluntarily.  The events are only as good as our efforts; those efforts deserve appreciation.  Our thanks for all their work and dedication go to our Chapter Board of Directors & other volunteers: Sue Weingast, Frank Franzini, Greg Montenegro, Rich Serina, Matt Millman, Steve Graziano, David Farino, Glenn Femminella, Mark Levine, Phil Bauccio, and Rachael Fusco.

We hope you enjoy tonight and that you will join us again in the future.  On behalf of the Long Island Chapter of RIMS Board of Directors, we wish you the best Holiday season and the most Prosperous New Year!

With sincere gratitude,

Joseph A. Corigliano, CPCU, ARM, AIC, RF
