Carnell Jones is a risk management leader with more than 15 years of experience improving organizational resilience across the real estate, parking, and transportation sectors. His work in claims management, incident prevention, and loss control has driven measurable reductions in injuries, strengthened safety culture, and lowered Total Cost of Risk.
Carnell is the Risk Manager for Trinitas Ventures, a national developer, builder, and operator of student housing and build-for-rent communities. He oversees enterprise-level risk, property and casualty programs, and claims operations, partnering across development, construction, and operations to align risk strategy with the firm’s growth and investment objectives.
Carnell has served on the RIMS Global Board of Directors since 2025. His RIMS contributions include serving as Co-Chair of the Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Advisory Council and as Board Liaison to the Rising Risk Professionals Advisory Group. He also previously held leadership roles within the Chicago RIMS Chapter, including Chapter President.
Carnell holds a B.A. in Business Management with a Minor in Economics from Morehouse College.
