Will is a graduate from the risk management and insurance undergraduate program at Indiana State University. Will has also earned master’s degrees from Olivet College (Masters of Business Administration) and Butler University (Masters of Science in Risk Management and Insurance). He holds numerous industry certifications, such as the Certified Risk Manager, Associate in Risk Management, and Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter.
Further, Will has received global awards in recognition of his industry expertise (Indiana State University/Rising Star Award, Risk and Insurance Management Society/Rising Star Award, Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce/10 under 40 award, Insurance Star Executives 35 under 35 award).
He currently serves as Global Director of Risk Management for Cook Group Incorporated, a global, privately-held, and family-owned organization with businesses in the medical device, life science, real estate, hospitality, and service industries. Will oversees risk financing and claim management for all lines of property & casualty insurance worldwide. In addition, Will’s team is responsible for Corporate Risk Management, Business Continuity, and Vehicle Management. He also has significant experience in Artificial Intelligence, including a temporary stretch assignment to help lead the company’s initial AI capability based on deep business knowledge and trusted stakeholder relationships. Such assignment covered AI strategy, governance, talent, and delivery of high-value use cases for a regulated, global enterprise.
In his spare time, Will enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and college sports.
