Bio

Dan (Deyna) Feng is director, captive programs with Cummins Inc., a global power leader, for over 10 years. Deyna is managing Vermont's domiciled single-parent captive Dynamo Insurance Company, Inc. and running off programs of 4 offshore group captives. In addition to existing property and casualty lines in captive, Deyna is implementing adding all international employee benefits (IEB) programs into captive for over 30,000 employees in over 60 countries. Deyna also leads Cummins global risk mitigation, including global loss engineering, Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and supply chain resilience projects. Prior to this position, Deyna Feng was the regional risk manager for Asia Pacific for Cummins, based in Beijing, China for 4.5 years, including insurance procurement, risk mitigation, contract negotiations, BCP setup and training, claim management and promoting risk management philosophy. Before joining Cummins, Deyna was one of the lead loss adjusters with Crawford China for 4 years, working with domestic and international insurance companies for large and catastrophic claims of all property and casualty lines, especially products liability, products recall, and general liability claims for multinational five-star hotel corporates. Deyna also worked in other occupations of 2 other companies in China, relating to general management and customer services for 5 years. Deyna Feng holds a bachelor's degree of Law, and Associate in Captive Insurance (ACI) designation certificate. Deyna completed postgraduate study of Economics before relocating to the United States. In 2017 Deyna earned her 6 Sigma Green Belt and won the Finance Business Impact Award at Cummins. Deyna spoke at various conferences, webinars, and podcasts. Deyna was awarded Power 20 of Captive Review Power 50 for 2020 as one of the influencing people in the captive industry. Volunteers: Chairing the RIMS International Council; On the board of directors of the Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA); On the Captive Owner Advisory Council with Vermont Captive Insurance Association (VCIA); Co-chairing the Lloyd's US Risk Owners Council.
