Denise Osorio is the Director of Certification Programs at RIMS, the risk management society. A recognized certification professional, Denise has extensive experience in the design, development and implementation of education and certification programs in multiple industry sectors, including accounting, insurance, professional associations and educational institutions. Throughout her career, she has used innovative strategies to create long-term enterprise value through such educational offerings.
Denise heads the RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional certification (RIMS-CRMP), a leading certification that marks the highest standard in knowledge, skills, and abilities in managing risk and creating organizational value. Accredited by American National Standards Institute (ANSI) under ISO/IEC 17024, the RIMS-CRMP is the only global risk management certification to hold such status.
Denise has over 20 years of experience as a professional educator. She is a member of the RIMS-CRMP Commission and holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto.
