Jennifer Reno is the Vice President, Risk Manager for FM, located in Johnston, RI. She leads the organization’s global risk management and corporate insurance strategy, with enterprise responsibility for property, casualty, fleet, financial lines and travel risk management programs across multiple jurisdictions and segments of the firm. Her responsibilities include oversight of global insurance program design and governance, renewal strategy, international compliance and contractual risk transfer. She also provides executive oversight of casualty and fleet claims, focusing on severity management, cost containment, recoveries, and trend driven risk improvements to reduce total cost of risk. Her department includes FM’s personal lines program. She previously served as Global Risk Manager for Qurate Retail Inc. Jennifer has over 30+ years experience in Insurance and Risk Management. Jennifer spent 14 years specialized in Risk Management for manufacturers in the Chemical Industry. Jennifer also worked in the Insurance Industry for a number of years prior to transitioning into Risk Management. Jennifer has served RIMS as a volunteer in a number of roles for the Delaware Valley Chapter including Chapter Secretary, Programming Chair, and Membership Chair. Nationally, Jennifer has served RIMS as a Committee Member, then Vice Chair and Chair of the Annual Conference Programming Committee. Jennifer has also served on the International Committee for the Society. Her educational endeavors include attaining the CPCU, ARM and AIC designations, as well as earning her master's degree in Insurance Management from Boston University. Jennifer's earned a BA in International Relations from Wheaton College, Norton, MA. Jennifer resides in Providence, RI with her husband and son.
