Lianne Appelt is the Enterprise Risk Management Director at Salesforce, and has over 15 years of experience in the areas of Information Security, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Enterprise Resiliency, and Privacy. Prior to joining Salesforce, Lianne built two risk management programs within Oracle Corporation's emerging cloud products (Oracle Public Cloud and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure), led eBay Marketplace's risk management program, and worked within GRC organizations at Paypal and Bill Me Later, Inc. She has a Sc.D. in Information & Interaction Design from the University of Baltimore, a M.S. in Professional Writing, and a B.A. in Information Systems Management as well as CISSP, CISM, and RIMS-CRMP certifications. Lianne is active in the RIMS, ISACA, ISC2, and other organizations, as well as the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP).
