I started in risk management in 1990 after five years in the environmental health and safety field. I have business and science degrees that help provide a basis for me to understand risk and achieve results. During this period, I have served as the senior risk manager for five multi-billion plus revenue companies. In that time, I have started two and ran four captive insurance companies and I have started two and led and developed four enterprise risk management (ERM) programs.
