Polly James has been the Senior Director of Risk Management at Feld Entertainment since November 2020. She brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles at Hilton Worldwide, General Motors, and American International Underwriters, where she specialized in Enterprise Risk Management, Latin America Risk, Risk Financing, Claims, Business Continuity, and Captives.
In addition to her professional role, Polly is actively involved in several industry organizations. She serves as the Assistant Chair of the RIMS Public Policy Committee, the Legislative Liaison Board Member for the Tampa Bay RIMS chapter, and the President of the Board for The Greater Tampa Bay Chapter of the Association of Contingency Professionals. Her past leadership roles include President of the Great Lakes Business Recovery Group and Chair of the American Hotel and Lodging Association Risk Management Committee.
Polly holds professional designations, including Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP). She earned her BA in Computer Science with a minor in German from Otterbein College, having studied in Bonn, Germany, and an MBA in International Business and Operations Management from Syracuse University.
