The Return of the Del-Val RIMS Summer Internship Grant

Friends,

We are happy to announce the return of the Del-Val RIMS Summer Internship Grant. Attached, please find the application for the 2026 program. All applications are due no later than COB on Monday, February 23, 2026. The Board will evaluate all applications, and a decision will be made shortly after the deadline. Grants will be awarded to the companies which present the best learning opportunity to a student.

The 10-week program grants are designed to provide a current Risk Management student the opportunity to have direct access to the Risk Manager and provide them meaningful work and projects on a daily basis, this is not meant to be an administrative position.

We are excited to offer a grant of up to $8,000 this year. Companies must hire, pay (including tax withholdings), and manage the intern according to their procedures. While internal approvals aren’t required before applying, approval is needed before accepting the grant. Please provide detailed information about the student's experience when submitting your application.

If you have any questions about the internship program, please contact Mhamza@insomniacookies.com
