MISSION STATEMENT
The Greater Quad Cities Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc. serves our member companies and the risk management community by fostering an environment of communication, education and networking to advance the practice of protecting physical, financial and human resources.
OUR PURPOSE
We are a not for profit association of Risk and Insurance professionals who meet on a monthly basis in an effort to advance our profession and professional skills through educational programs, networking, and information sharing. The Greater Quad Cities Chapter is one of 81 Chapters in the US that makes up the national organization known as Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc. (RIMS). OUR MEMBERS
Individuals representing our member companies have both full and part time risk and insurance management responsibilities. Our membership comes from the Quad Cities, Muscatine, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, and Des Moines.
OUR MEETINGS
Our monthly meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, September through June at various locations. Monthly meeting notices will identify the Quad Cities, Muscatine, Iowa City or Cedar Rapids location. Our meeting format is: 5:00 to 5:30 p.m., networking period, 5:30 to 6:30 program, 6:30 dinner.
