Software Development Engineer (SDE), Amazon Community Together (ACT)

Play a leading role in operational risk improvement at Amazon.com, where we have a history and tradition of leading the world in innovative technologies and services. You will report to a Sr Risk Manager and support Amazon’s Risk Management ACT Team by building new productivity tools. You will partner with the Treasury Tech Team to collaborate on the creation of a Risk Management Information System (RMIS), claims handling tools, data management/visualization, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The position is located at Amazon.com headquarters in Seattle, Washington.

ACT is a program that pairs associates with local and national non-profit organization’s based on community needs. ACT partners with greater than 750 non-profits, supporting over 145 Amazon locations across 31 states and is laser focused on an aggressive nationwide expansion.

The ideal candidate is clearly passionate about delivering experiences that delight customers and creating solutions that are robust. A commitment to teamwork, hustle, and strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners) are absolute requirements. Senior Product Manager, Amazon Community Together (ACT)

This is an opportunity to join our Risk Management team during the early stages of our growth to help us digitize our customers’ operations. In this role, you will report to a Sr Risk Manager and works closely with our business partners who lead the Amazon Community Together (ACT) program to define the program’s technology requirements, build a technology vision and roadmap, and work with software development engineers and third party software providers to automate the program where possible. The product manager will be critical in establishing a technical architecture that allows the program to scale and grow. The position is located at Amazon.com headquarters in Seattle, Washington.

ACT is a program that pairs associates with local and national non-profit organization’s based on community needs. ACT partners with greater than 750 non-profits, supporting over 145 Amazon locations across 31 states and is laser focused on an aggressive nationwide expansion. This product manager will need to develop a technical roadmap that solves for some of the program’s inherent technical needs. These include, but are not limited to: developing use cases for an internal/external UI that allows non-profits and Amazon locations to proactively sign up community support, developing requirements for a time tacking tool, supporting call center technology requirements (e.g. Amazon Connect), and building out claim management and reporting requirements.

Insurance Specialist - Premera

As a Corporate Services – Insurance Specialist you would support the Director of Enterprise Risk Management in working with Premera’s business leaders and insurance brokers to develop cost-effective risk transfer mechanisms and procure multiple forms of insurance. This role includes participating in the annual renewal strategy, assisting in evaluation of total cost of risk and retained losses, and working throughout the year with business leaders across the organization to assess/address changing coverage requirements due to construction projects, acquisition of new property/equipment, or strategic changes. Risk Claims Specialist - Port of Seattle

The purpose of this position is to provide support to Port organizations in tracking, analyzing, and implementing risk management processes. Provide proactive and cost-effective incidents/claims management of automobile, property, and general liability exposures up to the Port's various self-insured retentions; to include investigations into cause, damages, and liability issues for potential loss exposures, determining the Port's liability exposure and resolving claims at the lowest possible cost while supporting and balancing customer, tenant and public concerns.

Senior Enterprise Risk Management Analyst - Puget Sound Energy

Puget Sound Energy’s Enterprise Risk Management Department is looking for a Senior Enterprise Risk Management Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will partner with team members and PSE leadership to identify, assess, and proactively manage or remediate risks before they occur. This person is a strong strategic thinker, has a robust comprehension of the complex utility landscape, has experience with risk management and/ or risk management theory, possesses excellent written, verbal and communication, presentation and reporting skills, and is skilled in data analytics using Tableau, Power BI and/or other applications. Risk Analyst - Amazon

Amazon’s Global Risk Management and Claims team is seeking a Risk Analyst to assist with domestic and international contract reviews, support global insurance program management, and implementation of risk management tools and techniques for new and existing business initiatives. The Risk Analyst will coordinate and leverage a global network of internal and external partners to scale department support globally by engaging with operations, finance, and legal teams.

Reporting to a Senior Risk Manager within Treasury, this position will join a technical risk team that is responsible for assessing, mitigating, and managing the global casualty risks for Amazon. Successful candidate is a strong team player with willingness to “roll up their sleeves,” is able to earn trust quickly, and is effective at managing risk with and through others.
