Risk Manager - Tacoma Housing Authority 10-11-20

This position supports Tacoma Housing Authority’s strategic and operational objectives in the following way: Assesses organizational risk, procures and manages agency insurance programs, implements loss control and damage mitigation strategies, performs cost/benefit analysis to limit financial risk, works with insurance companies and legal teams to manage claims. Coordinates and administers THA’s Emergency Preparedness program, develops safety programs to ensure safe work practices are implemented, creates and provides training for safety & health and emergency preparedness. Provide technical expertise, strategic leadership, and support for all departments relating to safety & health, emergency management and workers' compensation.
