This month’s joint meeting with Boston CPCU features an overview of the 1851 Limitation of Liability Act and its relevance to today’s marine risk and insurance environment. Panelists Zach Cushman of Lockton, Josh Gold of Anderson Kill, and Tom Muzyka of Clinton and Muzyka will discuss how the statute shapes exposure, influences claims strategy, and affects risk evaluation across the industry.

Event Details

Join us for a great day of golf, networking, and friendly competition at the prestigious Blue Hill Country Club. The Massachusetts Chapter of RIMS is pleased to host this event, our primary fundraiser supporting the Anastos Chiavaras MRIMS Book Scholarship and the Annual Conference.


The day includes 18 holes of golf, followed by dinner and an awards ceremony, with a variety of on-course contests and activities throughout the event, including:

  • Scramble Format
  • Hole-in-One Contest
  • Closest to the Pin Contest
  • Longest Drive Contest
  • Putting Contest
  • Raffle Prizes

This event offers a great opportunity to connect with peers in the risk and insurance industry while enjoying a day of golf at one of New England’s premier private courses.

    Provide location for educational meetings with seating up to 30
    Provide breakfast/lunch for participants
  • Volunteers to assist with:
    Coordinating meeting venues
    Newsletters (monthly)
    Annual Chapter Conference
